Use voice input

Speak your website description instead of typing it: on the home page or in the workspace chat.

Recording a website description with Adaptar's voice input

Voice input lets you describe your website out loud. It works in two places: the home page prompt, when you're starting a new website, and the chat composer inside an existing workspace. Your recording is transcribed and placed into the prompt text box, where you can edit it before sending.

Record a voice prompt

  1. 01

    Open the microphone

Select the microphone button next to the prompt box and allow microphone access when your browser asks.

  2. 02

    Speak your prompt

Describe the website you want: the same way you would type it. Keep recordings under two minutes.

  3. 03

    Stop and transcribe

Choose Stop and transcribe when you're done. Adaptar converts your recording to text.

  4. 04

    Review and send

The transcript appears in the prompt box. Edit anything you like, then send as usual.

Tips for clear transcription

  • Speak in a quiet environment: background noise reduces accuracy
  • Say names and URLs slowly, or fix them in the text after transcription
  • You can cancel a recording anytime before transcribing

If the microphone doesn't work

  • Microphone access was blocked: allow the microphone in your browser's site settings and try again
  • No microphone found: check that a microphone is connected and enabled on your device
  • Recording too large: keep voice prompts under two minutes
