Enabling a public share link for a published Adaptar website

A public share link points to a finished, verified publication of your website: ready to send to clients, partners, or anywhere you want to show the live result. The link opens the published site itself, not your workspace.

Before you begin

  • A published, verified website: public sharing only works for finished publications
  • A decision on who should see it: anyone with the link can open it
  1. 01

    Open the share option

Find the share option in your workspace header.

  2. 02

    Enable the link

Choose Enable public link. Adaptar creates an Adaptar link for the latest verified publication.

  3. 03

    Copy the link

Use Copy to copy the address, then share it anywhere.

  4. 04

    Open the link

Choose Open link to see exactly what visitors will see.

When you publish a new version

The shared link keeps pointing at the version you shared. When a new publication is ready, the share panel shows New version available: choose Update shared version to point the link at the latest publication.

  1. 01

    Open the share panel

Open the share option from your workspace header.

  2. 02

    Disable the link

Choose Disable link and confirm. The link stops working: anyone using it will no longer be able to open the shared site.
