Resolve sync issues
Common reasons a GitHub connection or sync can fail, and how to fix them.
The connection failed
- Check that you completed GitHub's authorization flow: a cancelled step leaves the connection incomplete
- Confirm your GitHub account has access to the chosen repository
- Retry the connection from the GitHub section
A sync didn't complete
- Verify at least one verified revision exists: sync reflects verified state
- Check the repository still exists and your account still has write access
- Retry the sync; transient GitHub issues usually resolve on retry
Files look wrong in the repository
Sync reflects your current verified revision. If recent chat changes failed verification, they won't be included: retry the generation in the workspace first, then sync again.
