Edit your website in the preview

Make quick visual tweaks: text, colors, and fonts: directly in the preview, then let Adaptar apply them to your files.

Editing a text element directly in the Adaptar preview with the edit toolbar

When you spot a small change in the preview: a headline you want shorter, a button color that clashes: you can edit the element directly instead of describing it in chat. Adaptar shows you the element, takes your edit, and applies it to the source.

Select an element

Turn on hover selection in the preview toolbar, then move your cursor over the site. The element under your cursor is highlighted with its name: a heading, a button, an image. Choose Edit to open the edit panel for that element.

Make your changes

  1. 01

    Edit the content

Change the element's text directly in the edit panel.

  2. 02

    Adjust the look

Pick a text color, background color, and font: Sans, Serif, Mono, or Display, and set the size.

  3. 03

    Review your draft

The panel shows a summary of your edits. Use Reset draft to discard them and start over.

  4. 04

    Apply changes

Choose Apply changes: Adaptar updates the element in your website's source files.

Fix with AI

For changes that need a judgment call: "this headline doesn't stand out": use Fix with AI. Adaptar takes the selected element and turns your request into a focused change through the same verified flow as a chat edit.
