Calconic quote calculator
Embed a Calconic calculator so visitors can estimate the cost of your services.
Build the questions and pricing formula in Calconic, then connect its public calculator link in Adaptar. Visitors can calculate an estimate directly on your promotional website.
Before you begin
- Create and activate a calculator in Calconic.
- Check the formula, currency, input limits and results in Calconic before showing estimates to visitors.
- Set the calculator's own colours, fonts and mobile layout in Calconic.
Find your public calculator link
Follow Calconic's direct calculator link instructions to locate the visitor link in the Share tab.
- 01
Open the editor
Select your calculator in Calconic.
- 02
Open sharing
Choose Embed Calculator, then the Share tab.
- 03
Copy the direct link
Copy Direct calculator link. Use the public visitor link, not the private editor address or the link for copying a calculator into another account.
Add it in Adaptar
- 01
Open your project
Start from a generated website in the workspace, then open + → Site features.
- 02
Choose Calconic
Open Calculators, find Calconic, and select Add to website.
- 03
Enter your settings
Fill in the fields below and select Add to website. Adaptar updates the website and checks the implementation. This uses normal generation credits.
- 04
Review and publish
Wait for the update to finish, review it in preview, then publish the verified revision. Test the provider's behaviour on the published page as well.
Configuration
| Setting | Required | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Public calculator link | Yes | The complete HTTPS visitor link from Calconic, including its calculator ID |
The public link includes your 24-character calculator ID. Adaptar also accepts Calconic calculator-widgets links that end in that ID and the provider's iframe URL. Paste the unmodified link without tracking parameters or a fragment.
Link format only — copy your own link from Calconic
https://app.calconic.com/public/calculator/YOUR_CALCULATOR_IDWhat appears on your site
Your calculator appears inside the page with an Open calculator fallback link. Adaptar adds the surrounding section; Calconic controls the questions, calculations, internal styling and any configured submission behaviour. An estimate is not automatically a confirmed booking, order or payment.
Test the result
- Compare several known inputs and expected totals in Calconic and on your published site.
- Try empty, minimum and maximum values to check validation and pricing boundaries.
- Check scrolling and results on a narrow mobile screen, then open the fallback link.
- If you configured lead collection in Calconic, submit a test using your own details and check its destination there.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| The link is rejected | Copy the direct public link again. A template listing, editor URL, whole iframe tag or link without the calculator ID is not accepted. |
| The calculator is unavailable | Confirm it is activated and check your Calconic account's usage limits. |
| The price is wrong | Correct the formula, defaults or currency in Calconic; changing the Adaptar link does not change your pricing. |
Edit or remove the feature
To change the connected destination, reopen Site features, choose Update on the feature, change its settings, and select Update website. Review and publish the new revision. To remove it, choose Remove and confirm Remove feature, then publish the resulting revision.
Removing an embed from Adaptar does not delete its content, cancel a provider subscription, or disconnect accounts in the provider's dashboard. Changes made within the provider may appear without an Adaptar update; changing the public ID or link requires updating Adaptar too.
