Open Graph metadata
Control how your website appears in search results and when shared on social media.
The Open Graph feature adds search, social-sharing, and structured metadata to your website. It determines the title, description, and preview image shown when someone shares your link on X, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or in search results.
Configuration
| Setting | Required | Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Site title | Recommended | Maximum 60 characters |
| Meta description | Recommended | Maximum 160 characters |
| Social-preview image URL | Recommended | Public image, ideally 1200 × 630 pixels |
| X/Twitter handle | No | Begins with @ |
| Page type | No | Website, profile, article, or product |
| Canonical URL | No | The preferred address of this page |
| noindex | No | Hide the page from search engines |
Leave supported text fields blank and Adaptar will infer values from your website content: useful if you want sensible defaults without writing copy twice.
Test the result
Publish the update, then share your link in a chat or social post to see the preview card. Remember that social platforms and search engines cache metadata: changes may not appear immediately.
